C Powers joins forces with Fixed Rhythms once again for “Pressurized Edging Chamber”, chock full of the finest electro assaults and basement house bangers against the heteronormative dance music machine. C Powers is a singular force who has been pumping it out for many years now. Her tracks have been remixed by Kai Alcé, Parris Mitchell, John Barera and Will Martin to name a few. A force to be reckoned with just as much in the studio as behind the turntables. 

“Fast Cream” opens up the A side with drummy bassy electro, sci-fi ass shaking music par excellence. A2 features her own vocals on the powerful club anthem “No CIS People Are Going To Save Us”. The titular track closes out the A side with deep and shaky electro, the vocals speaking to you from another dimension through the speaker. A lost and found, ecstatic alien transmission from future clubland.

The B side takes a decidedly more house headsy direction. Opening up the B-side is the “Ket Organ (Organ Dub Mix)” bringing an acid bubbly simmer to a roiling boil. “Angel Uh Oh” has a balance of sentiment and strength…powerful dancefloor joy and introspection medicine. The “Ket Organ (Radio Mix)” closes out the EP with another vocal track that drips from the speaker cabinets like sweat from the ceiling.
