On vinyl for the first time, the 2006 debut full length from Vancouver?s SHEARING PINX, ?Poison Hands?, was originally released as a 2×3″ CDr on Not Not Fun and CD on Gilgongo. This collection of songs still sounds fresh, with aspects of Unwound, Huggy Bear, Sleetmute Nightmute and Sonic Youth _ the material is abrasive and challenging but at the same time, not really all that rough on the ears (if you?ve trained them well enough).
