After the insanity of Revolver II (recorded with Phil Elverum), Santa Cruz's Lowdown are back with 16 tracks of dance punk and experimentation. Members of Comets on Fire, Art Museums, and the Whysp started out in this band, best-known for playing in a tree and touring with the likes of Friends Forever and Old Time Relijun. They also appeared on the Bay Area scene-defining "Burn My Eye" DVD documentary (alongside contemporaries like Deerhoof, Erase Errata, and Numbers). Mastered by Jamie Stewart (Xiu Xiu).
