"SUMLYTE is a play on words.. a follow up to BLQLYTE (2020, Leaving), but less molten, more clear, short and sweet - an unfinished little something. A throwback to my habit of under-promising and over-delivering. Although I had hoped, it was never going to be perfect - so I asked for a due date and did my best to reach the end. I’m tired of watching the years pass without releasing music - I don’t know what will happen tomorrow but I want at least some of my ideas to reach listeners. Ultimately I just want to make a few songs my mom might like while saying something that means something." -Z
